I agree. Some of these are not science fiction but, to stay on topic here is the list of the books that I have read from the list:

    Fahrenheight 451

Enders Game, Speaker for the Dead, Xenocide

    The Hobbit

Just around 7 or 8 from The Dragonriders of Pern series

The first three Wheel of Time novels by Robert Jordan. (Note: These books have to be one of the most dense novels I have ever read. Although they are a challenge to get through at first, they are interesting but personally, not for me)

    Prey (I love Michael Crichton)

A Wizard of Earthsea (Not that great)

Foucaults Pendulum (Extremely dense. Written by Italian Umberto Eco and thus a bit weird on sentence structure. However, storyline is good and the author has a good sense of humor. Do NOT read unless willing to plough through first 100-150 pages until you get the hang of his writing style.)

    Frankenstein

    Flowers for Algernon

I really don't want to go past page twelve so I'm just going to stop here.

    1) Eragon (english)
Pretty good plot but not the best book. Very grandiloquent

    2) Ender's Game
Best sci-fi book that I have read

    3) Shadow Children series (not yet at Among the Free)
Really good series. It's sad but has a reoccuring theme of hope.

    4) Ender's Shadow
I like Ender's Game better, but this is a close second

Okay...did Mr. Kelso really expect us to go through 2340 pages?

Most of the books did not look like science fiction.

Out of the first 12 pages, I've read The Hobbit(boring, I don't even think that it's sci-fi), Ender's Game, and Flowers for Algernon, also known as Flawurs fur Algernun (If you have read it then you know what I mean).

These books were not on the list, but I really liked "The City of Ember" and the sequel "The People of Sparks"(I'm not fully sure if they're sci-fi).

This is a half random post, but I find it funny that Josh (wengcorp) called Fahrenheit 451 "yummy"
