Although I kind of liked Something Wicked This Way Comes. (Note: 'kind of') I can't say it was the best movie ever made. Oh, and breaking news! In a desparate attempt to make more money, Eisner decided to make a Something Wicked This Way Comes II. Not only is it completely computer generated so that it looks worse than the first but it also contains squeaky voices, children who are supposed to look like Jim and Will, several songs with bad lyrics, and a moral. I guess this follows in the tradition of all Disney movies in which ANY potential for a sequel is overturned by the heads of Disney who are looking to create a quick buck instead of a classic. Seriously, when was the last time Disney churned out a good movie by itself? Tarzan? Mulan? The era of Disney is over. This is saddening because it used to be so cool.
"Something Wicked This Way Comes" was a very good movie. It kept me hooked by adding something new after every scene. It was also fairly creepy, so it kept the suspense going. I do agree with some people that it was pretty random. The scenes didn't seem to flow in any order, but eventually in the end it was brought together. I did not see the concept of duality of life in the movie, but during the assignment I started to see it all appear. Overall, I think that it was one of the best movies that we have seen all year.

I developed and taught English Methods for twenty years at San Diego State University before "retiring" in 2004.

It was a Disney movie!
Horrifying! Or rather, porcine!
Anyhow, I hate horror movies. Seriously, I have a really despise them.
I think it was well made for an audience who is completely opposite from me. My brother would have loved it and boo'd when the kids didn't die.
Anyways, I can see it being a great book because although books can be scary, movies have a totally different effect.
And just a question, who shrieked in p.2 when the hand came up behind the kids? I found that quite amusing.

I think that this was a great movie, and I wasn't shocked that it was made by Disney. I've seen Disney make other creepy movies like this one before.
